If the bible says it… just believe it

It can not be explained what this simple approach does for your faith when you get it.

Too often we approach the WORD through the lens of examination, exegeses, eisegesis, theory, logic even supposition!!! Dissecting the WORD through reasonings and explanations that cause ‘analysis to paralysis!’……and we end up getting nothing…..or more confused…..moving nowhere….and procrastinating. ( I know you know what I mean!!!)

Please understand me….. much of these are very good tools – in fact excellent tools and I’d encourage you to

​

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who

does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2: 15 NIV

​

However, let us not forsake simplicity…taking the WORD at its word is also a very reliable way of correctly handling the ‘Word of truth’!

• It leads to action

• It leads to revelation

• It leads to manifestation

​

‘Take the WORD at is word’ reminds us to read the WORD and take it for what its says…

for if God wanted to say something other than what is written He would have!

Let’s take Joshua 1:5 in part, where God assures Joshua of His partnership…

‘…I will never leave you nor forsake you.’

This says He will never leave you nor forsake you (give up on you) …. What else could it mean…??

Just believe it.

Doesn’t matter how you feel…lonely… abandoned…. sad …. unheard. Feelings have nothing to do with it ... it’s not God causing those feelings, because He said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So whether you ‘feel’ like it or not, you are never without Him. HE is ALWAYS with you... the moment we get this – the quicker those unwanted feelings subside and disappear!
